The meeting will focus on five main topics: Reproduction Reproductive cycles in wild populations Experimental approaches to studying external and endocrine controls Gametes and control of reproduction Nutrition Endo- and exo-trophy of early stages Food availability and quality of trophic resources Nutrient transfer and pathways Growth and bioenergetics Ecophysiology and energy budgets External and endocrine controls Genetics and genomics Polymorphism, physiology, intra-specific variation and selection Genetic improvement of cultivated species Adaptation to environmental changes Marine molluscs and global change Species boundary changes and extinctions Phenology shifts Mollusc shells as climate tracers Trophic resources and environmental changes (including toxic phytoplankton effects) Invasive species Abstracts should be submitted in English before 29th February 2008 by email to physiomar08@univ-brest.fr as .rtf files. An abstract should not exceed one full page (600 words maximum or fewer if including one figure or table) Please state your preference for an oral presentation or a poster. After submitting, you will receive an email confirming reception of your abstract.
