The organizers invite proposals relating to the workshop theme of "Text and Texture". Contributions may deal with any aspects of language relating to the textual metafunction, including thematic and information structure, cohesion, the nature and construction of text and texture, from a synchronic or diachronic point of view. Contributions should be within the general framework of Systemic Functional Linguisics, or within some other framework used in comparison or contrast with Systemic Functional Linguistics.

The time allocated to papers will be 20 mins. followed by 10 mins discussion. The time allocated to workshop sessions will be 1 hr.
