International Symposium on Fossil Algae
Following the 9th International Symposium on Fossil Algae held in Zagreb, Croatia, 2007, the 10th Symposium will be held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, from Monday 12 to Sunday 18 September 2011.
12-15 September. Pre-Symposium field trip: Eastern Carpathians (Haghimaş Mountains, Dâmbovicioara region) and western border of the Transylvanian Basin.
16-17 September. Scientific sessions: Cluj-Napoca
18 September. Post-Symposium field trip: North-Western part of the Transylvanian Basin
STRATI2010
The 1st French Congress on Stratigraphy (the International scope of the event was in complete contrast to the national epithet) took place in Toulouse in 1994. The 2nd was in Paris in 1998, the 3rd in Lyon in 2002. After eight years without an event of this scope, the 4th congress is very eagerly anticipated by the European community of stratigraphers.

Réunions thématiques du GFC
Tous les ans, à la même époque, généralement en Décembre, le Groupe Français du Crétacé organise une "Réunion thématique". Ce micro-symposium est suivi de l'assemblée générale du groupe.
La réunion se tiendra à l'Ecole des Mines de Paris les 30 nov et 1 dec. 60 bd St michel (RER B - Luxembourrg ou bus n°38) dans la salle Vendôme.
