AIG Journal is a technical publication of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG). The journal has been established by AIG to provide Australian geoscientists with a forum for publishing papers, reviews and short notes dealing with any aspect of applied geoscientific research and practice.
Publication of this journal is a demonstration of AIG's commitment to supporting the ongoing professional development of its members and promoting the important roles of geosciences and geoscientists in society, both within Australia and internationally.
All contributions to the journal are peer-reviewed. AIG Journal is published exclusively on-line and is freely accessible by both AIG members and visitors with the aim of promoting Australian geoscientific expertise throughout the world.
