FOG is open to all fields of the Geosciences: Geology, Geophysics, Geochemistry, Mineralogy, Hydrogeology, Environmental Geology, etc.

Although it is primarily a platform for scientists from the Freiberg area, papers and technical notes by geoscientists from other localities are encouraged.

* Manuscripts must be submitted in Adobe PDF-format.
* The contribution of an author is normally a volume (exception: conference proceedings).
* The files may contain links to any URL and also in-document.
* Along with the PDF-file FOG must be given a list of all external links and their URL's.
* All papers will be reviewed by at least two scientists. The author may suggest 2 or more scientists to carry out the review.
