Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) from Newton rings to Master/Slave

Dr Adrian BRADU, School of Physical Sciences, University of Kent, UK

Wednesday, June 14, 2017, 14h00 - Room C208, UFR Sciences and Techniques

The Applied Optics Group (AOG) at the University of Kent in Canterbury has a long-standing experience in the field of Optical Coherence Tomography for eye imaging, working with both ophtamologists and industry. This talk will focus on the contribution the laboratory has brought to the development of OCT technology over the years. Apart from previous research activities, novel applications of OCT currently developed by AOG for medical and biological imaging as well as non-destructive technologies will be presented.
