Welcome to Brest University!
You have just arrived in Brest for your studies.
Classes of French as a Foreign Language (FLE) at UBO are organised by the Pôle Langues.
They are available from the beginner level (A0) to the advanced level (C1).

Levels A2, B1, B2, C1:

there will be 11 lessons of 2 hours each,
from Monday 12th January 2026 to Friday 3rd April 2026 (11 weeks).
  • A2 classes will take place on Wednesdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., starting on Wednesday, 14th January 2026 (22 hours).
  • B1 classes will take place on Tuesdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., starting on Tuesday, 13th January 2026 (22 hours).
  • B2 classes will take place on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., starting on Tuesday, 13th January 2026 (22 hours).
  • C1 classes will take place on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., starting on Wednesday, 14th January 2021 (22 hours).
     
Level A1:
there will be 16 lessons of 1,5 hours each,
from Tuesday 27th January 2026 to Thursday 26th March 2026 (8 weeks)
  • A1 classes will take place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (24 hours).

Please note there will be no classes from 23/02/2026 to 27/02/2026 (February holidays).

The next registration period will open at the beginning of September 2026.
Classes will start again at the end of September / beginning of October 2026.
 
It is compulsory to register BEFORE attending classes!
If you are a PhD student, please register directly on Amethis.
