The project team organised and hosted a 90-minute symposium at the IUNS-ICN congress in Paris on 28 August on the potential of algae in the sustainable food of tomorrow. Leonel PEREIRA (University of Coimbra, Coimbra, Portugal) and Hélène MARFAING (Centre for the Study and Development of Algae, Pleubian, France) were invited by the PROMALG-Health project alongside Nathalie BOURGOUGNON (Laboratory of Marine Biotechnology and Chemistry, University of South Brittany UBS, Vannes, France) and Annaïg LAN (Physiology of Nutrition and Eating Behaviour, Paris-Saclay Agro Campus, AgroParisTech, Palaiseau, France).
