Master's Degree in Accounting, Control and Auditing 

The learning outcomes of this specialized course are to provide students with comprehensive and transversal knowledge and skills that they can immediately apply in the fields of accounting, control and auditing. The objective is to train the future management leaders of, in particular, accountancy firms, auditing firms, industrial and commercial businesses, banking institutions and insurance companies, and the public and voluntary sectors. 

This specialization naturally leads to careers in accountancy or auditing (for the majority of graduates), or positions of responsibility in the accountancy/financial/management control services of industrial, commercial or financial companies.

Master's Degree in Management Control and Organisational Audit

The objective of the CGAO Master’s course is to train professionals in management control and audit, so that they can rapidly apply their skills to the work environment and context, and adapt to jobs that are constantly undergoing change.

 

This goes beyond just producing figures, it also involves selecting the relevant data and then communicating on it by giving it meaning.

Master's Degree in Finance 

The learning outcome of this specialized course is to provide students with comprehensive and transversal knowledge and skills that they can immediately apply in the field of financial solutions for strategic issues, and issues faced by entrepreneurs.

 

It involves training:

  • Future leaders in financial institutions (banking institutions and assurance companies) in specialized jobs (auditing, specialized financing, business analysis, asset management, private banking, etc.), as well as company financial officers (business makers, cash managers and financial arbitrators).

  • Entrepreneurs in modern financial techniques (crowd funding, collaborative finance, alternative finance recovery, transfer, etc.) but also entrepreneurship and strategy consultants (company creation, transfer and takeover, and financing).

Master Gestion des Ressources Humaines (GRH)

L’objectif est de former des cadres supérieurs polyvalents de la fonction RH. En effet, les principaux recruteurs de nos diplômés sont des PME caractérisant le tissu économique du Grand Ouest. Ces structures ont besoin de cadres capables de prendre en charge l’ensemble des activités RH, tant sur le plan stratégique qu’opérationnel. La polyvalence est une priorité et un facteur clé de l’insertion des diplômés.

Master's Degree Sales and Marketing

 

Learning outcomes:

Knowledge acquisition and enhancement (methods, tools, practices, etc.) in the core disciplines of marketing, with a specialization in services marketing and its fields of application.

 

Carrying out marketing assignments within the context of an organization’s overall objectives.

 

Enhanced training for digital marketing.

 

Scientific and academic objectives:

Acquisition of accurate and rigorous methods for conducting predominantly marketing-based complex projects.

 

Knowledge of new concepts, changes and advances in the discipline.

 

Students on the Research (recherche) pathway (offered at the beginning of Master 2) will have the possibility of continuing on to further studies at PhD level.

 

Professional objectives:

To train professionals who will be applying strategic and operational marketing policies in organizations, especially in the services field.

Master's Degree Management and Business Administration 

Dual competence pathway

The objective of the MAE Master’s course, Dual Competence pathway, is to train managers who are seeking to develop or reinforce their management skill(s) in order to lead activities and projects run by multi-disciplinary teams within businesses or organizations. 

This course is designed primarily for students who already have an initial scientific (engineer, academic), literary or legal competence.

Graduates will be tasked with designing and implementing tools and strategies for activity development/management in an enterprise or organization.

Master's Degree Management and Business Administration 

Research in Management Sciences pathway

The objective of the MAE Master, Management Sciences pathway, is to provide students with the necessary theoretical and methodological knowledge in Management Sciences for them to develop an advisory, study or research activity.

This pathway primarily leads on to doctoral research and in the longer term to the position of researcher-lecturer in management sciences.

For the 2021-2022 academic year, 44.8% of applicants for a Master’s Degree Course (Master) were successfully admitted to IAE Bretagne Occidentale.

 

For the same year, 74.1% of those admitted to IAE Bretagne Occidentale enrolled in a Master’s Degree Course.

 

A 94.7% success rate for the 2020-2021 academic year.
