Created in 1976 by UBO's Continuing Education Department, the Brest University of Free Time is a non-profit association.
It is affiliated to the University of Free Time of Brittany, itself attached to the French Union of Universities for All Ages (UFUTA).

For Whom?

Accessible to all, whatever the age and study level, it is open to any person who has free time.

For What?

To increase anyone's general culture, to acquire new knowledge, open up to recent discoveries and technologies, and participate in research actions.

Goal

Sharing knowledge in its great diversity and in friendliness, well beyond the territorial limits of the city of Brest.
